Irish Software Association nomination

27/11/06 - FBBT Nominated For Most Innovative Product Award.

BELFAST , Northern-Ireland – November 27, 2006 - FBBT (Fighting Bull Technologies Limited) has been nominated for a prestigious Technical Innovation Award by the Irish Software Association (ISA).

The Irish Software Association (ISA) has represented the interests of software and computing services in Ireland since 1978, and is the principal trade association for the software industry in Ireland .

Chairman of the Irish Software Association Bernadette Cullinan said: “The caliber of this year's short-listed companies reflects the mature resurgence of the software industry and confidence of indigenous firms after the dot.com bust of 2001. This year the ISA has supported many indigenous companies in achieving scale, particularly through enhancing their leadership capabilities. The short-listed companies have all demonstrated they are, or have the potential to be, world-beaters.”

Rick Bolin, FBBT CEO, added “The Broadcast Industry has evolved into a software-based environment and this nomination underscores the innovation accomplished by FBBT.  The company will continue to lead innovative developments in broadcasting and the whole of Ireland .”

Best of IBC Award

04/10/05 - FBBT Wins 'Best of IBC' Award

Selected by TVBEurope, TVB USA , The IBC Daily
FBBT's MatadorT has been awarded a prestigious "Best of IBC" Award by TVB Europe Magazine.

The awards spotlight what editor Fergal Ringrose refers to as "the very best new product innovations at IBC2005."

"We were especially looking", he added, "for new products that clearly show the potential to make money, or save money, for end users, rather than clever technology for technology's sake."

FBBT CEO Rick Bolin comments: "We are very pleased to receive this award, and particularly because TVBE made such a point of highlighting the importance of new products which deliver economic benefits to their users. That's why we have developed MatadorT. It's all about increasing efficiency, maximizing ROI and lowering the total cost of ownership of the infrastructure base in broadcasting."

IBC 2005 was the biggest ever, attracting over 43,000 attendees to the exhibition and the conference.
